If you happen to be in lower Manhattan this coming season, don’t miss Brookfield Place. Yes, the shopping is great (Saks Fifth Avenue, Club Monaco) and yes so are the restaurants but what’s really cool is the installation of the Luminaries in the Winter Garden. The installation opens on December 2nd and was created by Arts Brookfield and David Rockwell. Make a wish from the wishing station and watch the 650 lanterns suspended in a canopy light up in colors. With every wish, a donation is made to the GRAMMY Foundation’s music education program. In 2015 over $25,000 was donated, this year hopefully will top that. Brookfield Place in at 230 Vesey Street.
