Pausing in Paradise

Vacationing in Panama, Beth Perkins captured the wild beauty of rural Mariato --a small fishing town on the coast of the Pacific.  The tiny community, which is a serpentining five hour drive from Panama City, is rife with secret beaches, mangrove thickets, minute islands, rolling hills, and friendly, farming locals.  This slice of paradise was photographically documented in Beth's signature, unpretentious style --the portraits of the local fishermen and their children are truly stunning, and tell a story that these words cannot.
