Illustrator Rob Wilson created the illustrations that were used in the opening credits of the critically acclaimed film, Dirty Weekend , starring Matthew Broderick. The film premiered at the 14th Annual Tribeca Film Festival on April 19th.
While we can't show you the opening credits yet, we think it's so cool that the reviews below mentioned them. Nicely done, Rob!
"A 1960s-style animated credit sequence, playing on public-service symbols and backed by Joel Goodman’s cheery lounge-jazz score, sets a jaunty pace for the proceedings, though it’s a misleading one.” - Variety Magazine
"The opening-credits blast of snazzy Catch Me If You Can-style animation set to Joel Goodman's pastiche of Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" sets the cheeky tone: a feeling of somewhat randy intrigue just bubbling under the surface, waiting to pop out.” - Slant Magazine
